Al-Fatiha (Die Eröffnende)
Im Namen Allahs, dem Gnädigsten, dem Barmherzigsten. Alles Lob gebührt Allah, dem Herrn der Welten, dem Allerbarmer, dem Barmherzigen. Dem Herrscher am Tage des Gerichts. Dir dienen wir und Dich bitten wir um Hilfe. Führe uns den geraden Weg, den Weg derer, denen Du Gnade erwiesen hast, nicht den Weg derer, die Zorn erregt haben und nicht den der Irregehenden.“ [Koran 1:1-7]
„Al-Fatiha“ ist das erste Kapitel des noblen Korans. Es wird mehrere Male am Tag von allen Muslimen in ihrem täglichen Gebet rezitiert. Der erste Vers wiederum, wird von den Muslimen vor allen alltäglichen und außergewöhnlichen Taten gesagt.
Erlösung im Islam
Die Erlösung im Islam beinhaltet die, nach dem Tod erfolgende, letzte Reise ins Paradies. Islam lehrt, dass man um Erlösung finden zu können Glauben erlangt, gute Taten vollbracht, Sünden vermieden und die Gnade Gottes ersucht haben muß. Letztendlich entscheidet Gott durch seine Gnade über die Erlösung jedes Einzelnen. Islam kennt die Neigung des Menschen zur Sünde und Muslime werden immer wieder daran erinnert, diese ernsthaft zu bereuen und sofort Gottes Vergebung zu ersuchen. Islam lehrt, dass Gott gnädig und vergebend ist. „Er ist näher zu uns als unsere Hauptschlagader“. In einem Vers des Korans heißt es:„Gott akzeptiert die Reue derjenigen, die teuflisches aus Unwissenheit tun und sofort um Vergebung bitten“. In einem anderen Vers heißt es: „die Reue derer, die weiterhin sündigen ist vergebens, bis sie dem Tod ins Angesicht schauen. “ Letztendlich steht im Koran:„Verliere nicht die Hoffnung Gottes Gnade zu erlangen. Er vergibt alle Sünden.“
Wie wird man ein Muslim?
Islam ist die am schnellsten wachsende Religion der Welt. Jeder, der unabhängig von Rasse, Glauben und Kultur in seinem Herzen vom Islamischen Glauben und den daraus resultierenden Regeln überzeugt ist, kann Muslim werden. Um Muslim zu werden muß man das folgende Glaubensbekenntnis ablegen: Ich bezeuge, dass es keine andere Gottheit gibt als Gott und ich bezeuge, dass Muhammad (s.a.s.) sein Diener und Botschafter ist. Das Bekenntnis muß aus tiefster Überzeugung heraus gesagt werden, weil der Satz: „Es gibt keinen Zwang in der Religion“ ein Grundprinzip im Islam ist.

RIGHTEOUSNESS“...do no evil nor mischief on the (face of the) earth. JUSTICE“O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. So follow not [personal] inclination, lest you not be just. And if you distort [your testimony] or refuse [to give it], then indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.” [Qur’an 4:135]

NON-VIOLENCE“...whosoever kills a human being, except (as punishment) for murder or for spreading corruption in the land, it shall be like killing all humanity; and whosoever saves a life, saves the entire human race. Our Apostles brought clear proofs to them; but even after that most of them committed excesses in the land.” [Qur’an 5:32]

PATIENCE“And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah]. Who are certain that they will meet their Lord and that they will return to Him.” [Qur’an 2:45-46]

MERCY“...So overlook (any human faults) with gracious forgiveness. [Qur’an 15:85] ”And not equal are the good deed and the bad. Repel [evil] by that [deed] which is better; and thereupon the one whom between you and him is enmity [will become] as though he was a devoted friend.” [Qur’an 41:34] “...if a person forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is due from Allah...” [Qur’an 42:40]

GENEROSITY“O you who have believed, spend from the good things which you have earned and from that which We have produced for you from the earth. And do not aim toward the defective therefrom, spending [from that] while you would not take it [yourself] except with closed eyes.
